Hey Hey 2012!

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully you didnt stay up too late last night so you can enjoy the first day of the year!

I had a pretty crazy new years...not gunna lie.

As of 6 pm I was all dressed up with no where to go...so I went over to the Holiday Inn across the street from my job with a few friends from work until I could decide. Me and my work friends are actually thinking about making this a new hang out spot...they have a really cheap happy hour and it as kinda funny to hang out with a bunch of tourists and get asked where you are from a million times.

Finally me and my friends chose a last minute party in Williamsburg. When we all got there we decided it wasnt exactly what we had in mind...not to mention it was kinda in a sketch warehouse looking thing. We didn't wanna wake up the next day stripped of our iphones and cameras. Soo...at 11:45 we made a desperate decision...we needed to be in the city!

Mr. taxi step on it...we need to be in Manhattan in 15 minutes! For a second we thought we were gunna be in a cab when the clock struck midnight...can you run a red light?

The cab dropped us off three blocks wrong of our party destination...so we spent the last minute of 2011 running down west 10th street in our 6 inch heels and laughing.

And honestly after we stopped running and caught our breath...we realized it doesnt matter where you are...as long as you are with people you love.

We eventually made it to one of those semi cool new years eve parties with plastic hats and blow horns...but I think I had just as much fun running through the streets of New York. West 10th street will never be the same :)
